Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to quotations, cleaning services and contracts provided by iClean Company.
1. Agreement
These terms govern all cleaning services provided by iClean Company. By accepting a quotation or allowing us to perform work at your property, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotations
Quotations are based on the information you supply and, where applicable, a site assessment. Quotations are valid for 30 days. Material changes to scope, access or site condition may require a revised quotation.
3. Services and scheduling
Services are performed Monday to Saturday between 06:00 and 17:00 unless otherwise agreed in writing. We are closed on Sundays. After-hours and public holiday work may attract additional charges.
4. Client responsibilities
You must provide safe access to the site, working water and electricity where required, and disclose any hazards. Valuables and confidential documents should be secured before our team arrives.
5. Payment
Contract clients are invoiced monthly in arrears and payment is due within 30 days of statement unless otherwise agreed. Once-off cleans are payable on completion. Overdue accounts may attract interest and suspension of service.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations made with less notice, or where our team cannot access the site, may be charged at up to 50% of the booking value. Contract cleaning agreements require one calendar month's written notice.
7. Quality guarantee
If you are not satisfied with any area we have cleaned, notify us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean that area at no charge.
8. Liability
iClean Company holds public liability insurance. We accept responsibility for loss or damage directly caused by our negligence, subject to prompt written notice. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage to items not disclosed as fragile or valuable, nor for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Staff and non-solicitation
Our staff are trained and vetted employees of iClean Company. Clients agree not to directly employ or solicit our staff during the contract and for six months thereafter without written agreement.
10. Health, safety and compliance
We operate in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and use approved, eco-friendly cleaning products. Clients must inform us of any site-specific safety rules or inductions.
11. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
